Whilst
talking to visitors in Warrnambool tonite tues 2/4/02, it seems that
the Portland Cable tram had an engine failure on Good Friday resulting in
the car having to be towed back to the depot as to quote the motor was stuffed,
the people were residents of Portland and quite concerned, as this occured, on
the Easter weekend and would be quite disastrous for revenue. When I can confirm
what's happening I will let the group know.
Would any
kind afficionado, have a copy of the Launceston system that they could post on
the group as I would appreciate it to assist with my collection of system maps,
a big t i a .
Another big
thanks to Herman for his excellent picture postings on the group, and to
allthe others who done like wise.
