Yahoo changes

Howdy folks
Anyone having the same problem as me?
I use yahoo for my main listed email account
([email protected]) but they now want to charge me
for using Outlook Express to read the emails at home.
I use the internet to read emails from the office,
internet cafes, etc.
This email address is my "public one" that I don't
really want to change; [please do not ask for the
private unlisted one - unless you're a 5ft 6in buxom
blonde interested in trams]! A change to my long
established and publicly listed email address would be
a real hassle.
I'm not stingy but also not prepared to pay $US for a
service that has been free up till now.
Any suggestions?
