Collins Street Extension project

Thiess has advertised in today's Sun that the intersection at Spencer
and Collins Streets will be closed over this weekend.

They make mention in their ads of "Collins Street tram track
extension works". This implies that the "H" crossing that would be
required to enable the Collins Street line to continue up and over
the railway and former goods shed may be about to be installed.

Does anyone have any further information on the weekend works, and
the timetable and scope of the remainder of the project?
