Think seriously about moving it in one go.

It costs more to get it up and put it down than it does to carry it any distance.

Cost if and if that doesn't make sense, get back to me.

Subject: [TramsDownUnder] Help/advice needed!

Hello,
This is my first post to the group, although I have been reading with
much interest almost since it began.
I hope this is a suitable topic for a message - I apologise in
advance if I have broken a rule!
I had a rush of blood to the head a couple of weeks ago, and
purchased a W2 Class tram (body only) with the long-term of aim of
restoring it (probably only as a static object, but perhaps if I win
Lotto, it may be possible to go further).
I wonder whether anyone knows of anywhere I could store the tramcar
for a year or two until I can make more permanent arrangements for it.
I live in Adelaide, but the tram is located about 150 km to the south
east of Melbourne at the moment (I'm a bit reluctant to be more
specific, in case the wrong eyes are watching! - I'm not sure how
secure it is at present.)
I think it may be too costly to transport to Adelaide at the moment,
even if I had somewhere to put it, so somewhere within 200 km or so
of where it is now would be best.
Does anyone know of a trucking firm that could carry out transporting
of it without costing an arm and a leg?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I am quite happy to give more information by private e-mail or phone.
I will be in Victoria for a few days next week (11th - 15th).
Cheers,
Trevor

PS, in case you are wondering, it is NOT No 277 - that is actually a
reference to Adelaide F1-type 277 - but only to a model!
