Tram tickets

Some collect stamps - some collect railway tickets ...

For a while I started collecting tram tickets.

Here are a few favourites of the collection ...

1. 1890 vintage Bendigo Steam Tram ticket - someone
found them just before the 1965 TMSV 75th anniversary
tour and handed them out.

2. VR tram (really "Electric Street Railway") ticket,
1950s - apologies for the dirt, I dug it out from
under a seat of a VR car abandoned at a sand and soil
place in Greensborough many years ago!

3. SEC parcel ticket - they really made the connies
earn their keep by delivering parcels along the line.
Note the requirement that the 6d (that's 5c for
youngsters) was to be paid in cash!

Got a few more I could post if anyone is interested -
like PMG and police tickets - even a Launceston one!
