Overhead fittings

We've seen a collection of photos of overhead fitings.

Here's the other part of the process.

Pic shows Melbourne's last trolley wheel pole - just
removed from T180 in 1966 prior to a TMSV tour (for
which a skid was fitted) and waiting to be taken from
Brunswick depot back to Preston Workshops in Freight
Car 17.

By the way, the tour climax was a de-railment of 180
on the curve from Batman Avenue into Swanston St. Car
ended up right across Swanston St - fortunately on a
Sunday night!

The old Brill Radiax truck just didn't like that worn,
sharp curve.

Want pix?? Let me know.
