You think that's bent, Don, you should see the
English Left Hand Drive half-cab mirror image buses they built for export
markets such as Portugal.
Even the engine was built in mirror image so it
could fit in the off-centre engine bay. And the driver's cab, of course, was on
the opposite side to what we have here and in the UK and Hong Kong, India, NZ
etc etc.
I'm from San Francisco originally and I had a real
problem getting on trams here in Oz for awhile. They are mirror image left/right
and fore/aft since they are double-ended and have centre doors on both sides.
Tried to get on the wrong side more than once. And I wasn't even
stoned.
