With all our talk about trams, it is easy to forget the
hunble trolley bus, or trackless trolley. Australia had a number of systems in
Adelaide 193?-1963?, Brisbane 1951-1969, Hobart 1935-1968, Launceston 1952-196?,
Perth 1933-1969 and Sydney 1935-1959.
New
Zealand had a few too, and Wellington of course still has
'em.
