Any news on what is happening with the remainder of the rail bridge?

On the Victorian Dept of Infrastructure web site, there is currently some information discussing the short listed tenderers plans for the bridge. The two options are:

A cocoon to be constructed over the bridge and a retail precinct created that links to Southgate.

A large Ferris wheel (Melbourne Eye) to be placed on top of it.

Another tenderer who missed out wanted to put a replica S class and Spirit of Progress carriages on the bridge and make them into shops and restaurants. They are currently appealing to be put on the short list according to The Age website a few weeks ago.

I can't say any of the options especially appeal.
