at an internet cafe in Launceston, Tasmania, and must

I was mentioning the sad passing of Sydney tram
enthusiast, John Fawl, last week. The funeral was held
in Sydney today (14 February) and was attended by
several tram enthusiast friends of John.
I got along really well with John. He was a rather
private person but had a wonderful collection of high
quality photos he took of Sydney trams in the years
leading up to their closure in 1961. I trust the
photos will be preserved.
