Yes, thanks for the correction - I realised my mistake
just after posting - the radiator is a dead giveaway!
Seem to recall that the old MMTB insisted on AECs
after getting a really raw deal on Leylands
immediately after the war - the takeover of AEC by
Leyland caused them some consternation.
I've attached another pic taken on the same day -
showing the rather sparse interior of R10.

AEC stands for Associated Equipment Corporation and
it was, in the early
days, a subsidiary of London Transport.
It was taken over by Leyland around 1966 or so and,
as independent vehicle
builders, both sunk without trace.
