Happy Australia Day! ...and how did it effect the tram network today?

Hi,

I have fond memories of a "Cavalcade of Transport" on Australia Day
when I was a kid, many years ago - over 20 years ago. Lots of rides
on the historic fleet, even a horse drawn tram from Kilmore. Anyone
know the exact year?

And what did we have this year? The weather kept me home - too hot so
I've curled up to watch the women's tennis final and the one-day
cricket. I noticed that the 109 service was being disrupted. Does
anyone know what that was about? Some parade or some such?
