First I've heard of that, Bill.

I wasn't aware of any major problem.

I seem to remember a little hatch up over the windscreen that put a lot of
air in along ceiling level and because it pressurised the car slightly
pushed hot air out.

I don't remember the details of the passenger windows. Guess that gets back
to the old drivers' saying, "There's only one seat in the house". I did fine
driving them.

From my own experience I know that on a hot day in Bendigo, the
ventilation for passengers was atrocious. This apparently was also a
significant problem in Geelong.

In both cities it eventually lead to an SECV preference for using
larger two truck cars in summer, even when the traffic didn't warrant
their capacity.
