Welcome aboard.
Good to see another interested in the Brisbane system.
You have missed a number of animated discussions (arguments???) about the
relative aesthetics of the FM cars compared to drop centre offerings in places
'down south'.
A
number of shots featuring FM's have been placed on this group, although most are
of the 'Phoenix' cars, which were the subject of much discussion in previous
postings- check the archives for details of what has been said previously about
the Bris system.
I
am much looking forward to seeing your web site when
possible.

Thanks for accepting my application to join.
My main interest is in the Brisbane tram system, but this is hindered
by the fact that:
I was born near Brisbane in July 1969 - 4 months after trams stopped
running (grrrrrrrr)
And i am currently living 1500k away in Cloncurry, NW Qld. :-(
I hope i will be able to contribute in some way, though.
I was wondering, does anyone have a photo of FM516 in service? I'm
looking for a shot to put on my website (under const) to contrast
with it's current condition (and retrospectively bag the 1968
Brisbane City Council for good measure)
Thanks
John McCandless
