Steam trams etc

---I believe that 103a and 1a are at Valley Heights.
Boy what a worry !

I have often felt the group would have been better joining up with
SPER at Loftus instead of going up into the mountains.
I know there is a big fire risk there too, but the actual main
buildings are secure and substantial.
(I would not say the same for the old site across the road though.)
The steam trams would be sensational on the line into National Park.
I realise they have had some problems in the past at their previous
location, but I feel nothing but good would come from living at
Loftus. They would have two long lines on which to run and no doubt a
separate area would be allocated to them for their facilities if they
went there.

Public exposure would be assured which is all important, and all of
Sydney's tram heritage would be at the same location.

Thank you very much for the images Walter. The are a great help.
Unfortunately I was unable to visit the museum before the fire. Now
I
hear that another steam tram trailer has been burnt at the new
museum
in Valley Heights.
