I always though that the B-2s under the 1100s had rubber
springs; I seem to remember that from looking at trucks from
scrapped cars. The B2s on the ex-Toronto/KC cars supposedly
had steel springs in place of half of the rubber springs. (I think
the Philly F line cars may have the same arrangement, since
their ride is not as "wallowy" as the 1100s.)
