Making a houseboat out of a tram would have been a giggle. Couldn't you just
see that sucker floating around in the middle of Lake Eildon with all its
lights on?

The tram was purchased with the intention of making a house boat out
of it for use on Eildon weir. I don't know if this ever happened or
the tram was scrapped on site in the yard on Rooks rd.where it sat
for a number of years. I can not remember whether there was a W3 there
as well.
