There you are folks - an "overeas expert" is about to land on your

Hi Guys

I'm really glad you guys are taking steps forward to help your own
national/state/Melbourne tramway cause. If I can be of help, sign
petitions or lend support through letters to the Ed etc, just let
me
know.

Bill - I don't talk Bull!

"I'm falling in love again" Victorian Tourism Campaign for
Melbourne
with fleeting glimes of W's.
"The Secret Lives of us" Successful TV programme screened in
NZ/UK/Oz. Several episodes have had W's going past.
"Advertising Material" Distributed to Travel Agengies/Airlines in
NZ
and I'm sure everywhere else in the world.
"Vitually every Melbourne t/shirt and souvenir" (It's only a couple
of months since I was in Melbourne - so I can guarantee that one).

Have a good weekend everybody, I'm about to hope across the ditch
to
SYD for a long weekend with friends.

Cheers
David

Apart from the restaurant cars, W trams have not featured in major
point of sale, TV or cinema advertising for Victorian tourism in
Australia for quite a while. Melbourne has been assiduously
expanding
its base of tourist "icons" over the past few decades and now has
a
wide range that are used in advertising the city, with the trams
now
playing relatively minor role.

Melburnians are nostalgic about W's

Is that "from your perspective" there in New Zealand?

Being nostalgic about them and having any desire to ride on them
everyday are not necessarily related in any way.

Cheers,

Bill
