Yahoogroups--MAJOR Failure going on now

Hi, all listmembers,

Yahoogroups has been down all morning. This seems to be a MAJOR failure
affecting the entire country.

If you are trying to access the web site to view messages, attachments,
files or photos, a message comes up stating "Unable to perform member
authentication". This immediately affects all members who are signed up as
"Daily Digest" or "No Mail". It may also indirectly affect members who are
signed up for "Individual E-Mails" in that while you may continue to receive
messages sent to the group, no one will be able to go to the web site to
edit your memberships, view files, photos or bookmarks, or even change one's
Yahoo! ID, password or update an e-mail address, subscribe to a new group or
unsubscribe from a group--in short, all database functions are down..

As usual, I tried to reach Yahoo! customer care to find out what the problem
is, but have had no success.
