Unfortunately Peter, Jones is still sucking air, the old saying, "only the
good die young" particularly applies here, his henchman (who's name escapes
me at the moment) who actually hates trams more than Jones, I'm not aware if
he has gone to his just rewards either, would love to see them both run over
by a bus travelling illegally down the remaining uncovered tram track,
ironically, right outside Jones' house!!!!! As you can see, I have a soft
spot for them!

mmm...very tasty hook,line and sinker,re the right turn into Batman Ave.,I

am fairly sure that the sign on the tramway pole on the left curb is still
there,it says NO RIGHT TURN.then in tiny print"buses and taxis excepted",if
you made a right turn now you would find that they have put Batman
Ave.somewhere else.Greg,love the Brisbane shots,just seeing Bardon on the
destination gives me goose pimples,I hope Clem Jones is doing it hard in the
afterlife.[Dear Yanks,Clem Jones was the Lord Mayor of Brisbane responsible
for closing a beautiful tramway],WGB,still have your shot of 3 bogie cars in
