Of course my track is "O" gauge (in fact 32mm) and for straight track I use Orr HO girder rail, the curves I use double check rail, all my rail is code 100.

Thank you for the nice comments, how about some shots of your layout? You method is quite interesting, never ceases to amaze me, the ingenuity of modellers.

Beautiful tram, but the trackwork looks quite stunning! In 00 gauge, I use 2.5mmwide strips of coffee tin for the check (soldered beside the running rail). How do you build that lovely track?
