That link brings up a plan of various early Victorian railways trams -
notably the trams built or converted after the disastrous fire in 1907.
The plan also shows a couple of other VR "Trams" - of the horse drawn
variety - that once connected the town of Welshpool with it's port - via
a 2' 6" (760mm) tramway.
Jetty tramways were common in Austrlia, but the Welshpool line ran a
full 5 km into town and boasted both goods and pasenger rolling stock.
The attached pic (which I just found courtesy of Google), shows the
motive power and the passenger and goods rolling stock at Welshpool.
The tramway closed on Jan 1, 1941.
