The photo search is misbehaving today.
It shows that there are two pages of thumbnails of 939, but will display
only the first, with six photos of 939 as Colonial Tramcar Restaurant 3.

I don't know what older photos are on the other page.

Here is one of 939 on an interesting route: Collins St to South Melbourne
Depot via Clarendon St & Park St, involving two shunts.
How often was this route used?
The photo was taken on Thurs.3.1.74.
Presumably it turned right into Park St to use the crossover there.
This use of route 17 lasted from 25.9.72 to 8.2.97.

Did South Melbourne Depot share route 10 with Preston Depot?
