According to the Heritage Council of Western Australia, seven cars went
to Yanchep and were used as cottages.Maybe 54 was among them, but 57 is
the one in that photo I sent which came from their June newsletter.
Earlier this year, Community News ran the story that the work had been
completed and also said it was 57 that had been restored.

There are a number of references to it on the web. I don't know what
happened to the other cars except 61 which, as Ric pointed out, and
which the Heritage Council also mentioned, went to Whiteman Park.

And a photo of a tram body being used as a bus stop in East Victoria
Park on Albany Highway. I on't know which one, but it looks like it
could have been a C Class as well.
