10 years since conductors went - "The Age Melbourne Magazine"
  Mal Rowe

Once a month, "The Age" publishes a (very) glossy magazine aimed at
people who don't have enough to spend their money on.

It arrived in today's paper and there is an article in it marking the
10th anniversary of the abolition of tram conductors in Melbourne.

I attach a copy of the opening two pages.

The pic does not do justice to the quality of the colour in the magazine.

It seems to be an interesting article and quite well informed (although
I have only skimmed it)

If you don't get The Age, I am offering to send spare copies I have
collected to three people in Australia who request a copy. I might give
special preference to former marmalades. :-)

Just send me your surface mail address to my email at
<brill21e_AT_optusnet.com.au> ... with _AT_ replaced by the @ symbol.

No need you to pay postage ... it won't cost much.

By the way, the guy hanging out of the W in the old navy blue uniform is
Kevin Tierney who recently provided a nice collection of material to be
scanned for the TMSV archives.
