In Melbourne this morning Scouts marched up Bourke St to celebrate 100
years of Scouting. They were accompanied by decorated car 179.

They stopped at Parliament for speeches:

By the time I arrived, although motor cars were still excluded, the tram
services were running through the crowd.

A few minutes later, I caught Ron Scholten taking 179 back to Malvern.

The tram is swinging from Nicholson St into Victoria Pde ... a curve
usually only used by City Circle trams.
