Certainly of interest, diesel haulage "under the wires" is not a very
common event, and the dark conditions add to the mystique! Thank you for

[TramsDownUnder] U Sets in NSW


Here is the only shot of a U Boat I could find. 4468 leaving Central on a
Blue Mountains service. Apologies for the quality, it is early in the
morning and the weather was fairly ordinary. If you can see through the
smoke, the pantographs are still up!

It was in August 1977 and the power was turned off with the result that
all trains to Mount Victoria were loco hauled.

Not really on topic but I hope the shots are of interest.
