138s ex K class , later Melbourne 10A ? Now ...

Its "twin" was 139s => Melbourne 11A

used to pull the grass burning cart around the Moore Park
- Sports Ground - Cricket Ground - Showground - Anzac Pde
environs - (and probably other) reserved tracks while I
was at school at Sydney High, 1956-1960. Used to watch it
in operation during the day.

This picture was taken at Randwick Workshops, with a line of
other service trams (all ex D's), including 43s which had its
clerestory roof removed at some stage in its life.

I think the grass burner is at the STM.

I remember 43s regularly operating on the Waverley lines.
I wonder when/why it lost its clerestory roof?
