The return fare of 3/6 included admission to the course.
When the service commenced L/P and O/P cars were used as the 'Ps' had not entered service.

The Sydney tradition of selling return tickets to special events
was maintained. But instead of a small mark up, the price of 3/6 -
three shilling and sixpence was charged. The return fares on ordinary
tram services would have been approx. a shilling - 1/- or less.
This was very expensive - but not for fancy punters. The depression and the
divorce of the tramways from the railways occurred in the early 1930s.
So I don't thing the service lasted very long.
