Malvern just west of Burke Road and inbound on Gertrude Street,
Fitzroy, just west of Brunswick Street. The little cupola right
above 1808 is part of the now delicensed but once notorious Champion
Hotel. The tram is passing Glass Terrace, a very early row of
houses. If St. Vincent's Hospital had had their way they would have
razed it and probably most of this very interesting block. Melbourne
is not an old city and we are fortunate that a great deal of
Victorian Melbourne is still standing. There are some sad exceptions
though.

Peter,
It was the 2002 Tram Parade.
However,I am still cursing that I misses getting a photo of
Scrubber no 10 crossing Elizabeth & Latrobe St whilst 1808 was
shunting on the xover.
