I do spend a lot of time in Sydney. Actually, the idea for a road tunnel
between North Sydney and Balmain has been on the books since the 1950s and
has been carried forward on a bipartisan basis (remember, Labor thought
that better roads and a car would improve like for the working man).
Initially, it was going to end in a surface T intersection at Victoria
Road, Rozelle. That would have been a hoot. Personally, I'm not promoting
these ideas. Better public transport is always the answer.
