Re: Activity at Bendigo yesterday (2nd May, 2024).
  Andrew Cook

Some happy snaps of the activity at Bendigo tram depot yesterday morning. 'Coffee Tram' aka Bendigo bogie No. 3, SW6 880 in a new 'gold' livery and Auckland No. 258 (aka Melbourne W2 421) which interestingly, replaced 880 on the tourist run. In a couple of shots is MMcG, Bendigo tramway stalwart.
The new Taj Mahal at the rear of the present tram sheds is almost complete with workers sweeping up the construction dust as I went past on the e-bike.
There appears to be no rail access to the Taj at all—maybe that comes later?

Cheers,
Andrew Cook.
