It's a nice photo with the tram probably running late and by that year, the
driver might have a handheld two way radio rather than being instructed by
an Inspector on duty in Chapel or Church Street, and asked for
instructions for late running and was told to 'Come back from Swan and
Church'.

There was never any logic to the tram destination in large font, Prahran
and underneath in a smaller font, Brighton Road. Brighton Road via Prahran
would have been acceptable.
