I have never met anyone who thought it “wonderful to see all the bright advertising”.

It is urban blight and a privatised assault on the public domain. Like billboards.

The only AOA on a tram that - inadvertently - I reckon conveyed a message that amused was a set of Alstoms on George St advertising BBQs Galore. As the overall colour was a tan-brown shade the trams looked like a pair of animated turds.

Obviously, no-one had stood back and looked at two long brown things with tapered ends and thought “what does this remind me of?"

Most appropriate….
