Metropolitan trains will run to a Sunday timetable today, with extra trains for AFL at MCG [Marvel?].  Night trains will operate tonight.

Frankston line: Trains will not stop at Parkdale until mid 2024 (level-crossing removal work). Shuttle buses will operate Mentone - Parkdale - Mordialloc, connecting with trains. No access to station facilities or platforms during this time.
Public transport disruptions are happening through Autumn (infrastructure projects).
10.00  Sandringham line: Major delays (police in the Windsor area).  Trains may be altered.

18.43 Werribee/Williamstown lines: Major delays through Melbourne Southern Cross (police) request. Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations.
- 20.03  Citybound trains will run via the loop to Flinders St. Outbound trains may not stop at SC. [Through working with Frankston abandoned?]
- 0.49 Minor delays. Outbound trains will operate at a reduced speed through SC.  Trains may be altered and less frequent; trips may take longer than usual. [Lasting into Saturday]
18.43 Sunbury/Craigieburn/Upfield lines: Major delays through Melbourne Southern Cross (police). Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations.
- 19.02 Outbound trains may depart from altered platforms at SC.
- 20.04 Outbound trains may not stop at SC. Trains may be less frequent [euphemism for trains may be cancelled] and trips may take longer than usual.
- 0.50 Minor delays.  Outbound trains will operate at a reduced speed through SC. [Lasting into Saturday]
18.46 Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: Delays through Melbourne Southern Cross due (police).  Trains will run direct to/from Flinders St.  Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations.
- 18.58 From SC or loop stations, take a Lilydale/Belgrave/Glen Waverley train to Richmond.  [Lasting into Saturday]
18.46-47 Mernda/Hurstbridge/Lilydale/Belgrave/Alamein/Glen Waverley lines: Trains will run direct to/from Flinders St, not via loop (police at Melbourne Southern Cross).  Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations.
- 18.55-56 Loop running resuming, with trains running at a reduced speed through SC.  Some trains will still run direct from Flinders St.
