Pakenham line: New Narre Warren station opens today. Finishing works continuing until mid 2024, more info: http://levelcrossings.vic.gov.au/nwstation
Frankston line: Trains will not stop at Parkdale until mid 2024 (level-crossing removal work). Shuttle buses will operate Mentone - Parkdale - Mordialloc, connecting with trains. No access to station facilities or platforms during this time.
Industrial action for Thursday 28 March has been withdrawn. VLine trains will be running except for the Seymour and Shepparton lines, where buses are replacing trains (works).
9.00 & 11.10 Buses are replacing trains Eltham - Hurstbridge (fire brigade), adding 30 min. Other trains may be altered/delayed.
14.34 Frankston line: Buses to replace trains Cheltenham - Mordialloc (emergency services responding to a serious incident). Buses have been ordered. Other trains are delayed.
- 15.30 Replacement buses are in operation.
- 16.30 Buses are adding 45 min.
- 19.43 Trains resume, with delays. First trains: 19.06 ex Flinders St; 19.20 ex Frankston.
15.12 Mernda/Hurstbridge lines: Trains services will operate direct to/from Flinders St (a track fault in the Flinders St area). Trains may be altered, delayed or cancelled.
- 16.07 Still direct to/from Flinders St (now with an equipment fault near Melbourne Soutnern Cross). From loop stations, take a train to Flinders St [has to be inbound Pak/Cran].
- 16.42 Outbound trains resume the loop, with delays. First trains: 16.41 Mernda; 16.46 Eltham.
- There are SO many disruptions CONSTANTLY on the Hurstbridge line. What are you doing to fix this!?
- 17.00 Trains resume, with minor delays. First trains: 16.08 ex Flinders St; 17.00 ex Hurstbridge.
16.02 Lilydale/Belgrave lines: Major delays (a vehicle hit Wantirna Rd bridge, Ringwood). Trains may be held at or between stations for an extended period, or may be altered or cancelled.
- 16.10 Delays clearing. Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations; stopping patterns may be changed.
