None of this work is to fix the accelerated wear I noted a few weeks
back - this is minor stuff like cleaning out the points (failed
detection due to dirt and rubbish in the blade units is common), APS
'power block' replacements require not only a tram closure, but also the
parallel traffic lanes and other minor 'running maintenance' items.

Due to very restrictive safety protocols for working around the
'railway' any task requiring access to the corridor, even if it's just
to trim line side vegetation back, requires a 'possession'.
