One interesting statistic that has come out recently in Melbourne is
that the city is often busier at night than during the day.
That is certainly my experience each time I head home after a TDU dinner.
I suspect that night loading figures for trams in Melbourne may be under
reported as there don't seem to be authorised officers doing ticket
checks then.
