The Whitehorse Road crossing of the Outer Circle railway at Deepdene was a nightmare for all concerned. The short-lived AEC rail motor service was also involved in accidents there too, and one motorist crashed into a rake of wagons being shunted across the road at night. See the attached press cuttings.
