Flinders St: still with a lane closed for tunnel works.
Because of tunnel works, Degraves St subway at Flinders St is closed until 2024. No platform transfer via Degraves St subway. Passengers should use Elizabeth & Swanston St entry/exits.  Campbell Arcade remains closed to 2024. Platform  interchange via that subway was available until mid 2022.
There will be disruption to services in Jan, while works take place.  Buses will replace trains on parts of the network.
Buses replace trains on sections of the Pakenham/Cranbourne lines until 3.00 Sat 28 Jan (works).
Frankston line: Trains will run to an altered timetable until mid 2023 (works).  Trains will stop at all stations Caulfield - Cheltenham all day.
- Buses replace trains on sections of the line from until 3.00 Sat 28 Jan (works).
Buses replace trains Frankston - Stony Point until the last train (works elsewhere).
Sitting in ventilation shafts, these axial fans have been specially designed to help control air movement through the new tunnel. They're 2.4m long, 2m wide and 2.1m high – not including the stands/
These form part of the complex ventilation systems throughout the tunnel, ensuring safety and comfort for future passengers using Melbourne’s upgraded train network.
Here's one of the outlets for them... Gives a better impression of the size
17.17 Major delays Essendon - Craigieburn (fire-brigade action).
- 17.52 clearing
