Flinders St: still with a lane closed for tunnel works.
Because of tunnel works, Degraves St subway at Flinders St is closed until 2024. No platform transfer via Degraves St subway. Passengers should use Elizabeth & Swanston St entry/exits.  Campbell Arcade remains closed to 2024. Platform  interchange via that subway was available until mid 2022.
There will be disruption to services in Jan, while works take place.  Buses will replace trains on parts of the network.
Buses replace trains on sections of the Pakenham/Cranbourne lines until 3.00 Sat 28 Jan (works).
Frankston line: Trains will run to an altered timetable until mid 2023 (works).  Trains will stop at all stations Caulfield - Cheltenham all day.
- Buses replace trains on sections of the line from until 3.00 Sat 28 Jan (works).
Buses replace trains Frankston - Stony Point until the last train of Fri 27 Jan (works elsewhere).
8.28 Mernda/Hurstbridge line: Outbound delays (an equipment fault near Collingwood). Outbound trains may operate at a reduced speed between North Richmond and Collingwood.  Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.

14.18 Werribee line: Major delays (police in the Williams Landing area). Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate locations.
- 14.28 clearing.
18.30 Craigieburn line: Buses are replacing trains Essendon - Broadmeadows (a person hit by a train).
- 19.30 & 21.13 Replacement buses are delayed by heavy road congestion.
- 22.19  Trains have resumed.
Buses replace trains North Melbourne - Upfield from 20.35 until the last train (maintenance works).
Sunbury/Craigieburn/Upfield lines: All trains direct to/from Flinders St from 21.00 until the last train (maintenance works).  From loop stations, take a train from pfm 1 [special city circle; inbound Dandenong from pfm 2 to Melbourne Southern Cross not suggested] to Flinders St.

Today, for the Australia Day public holiday, all trains will run to a Saturday timetable with no Night Network services.  Some services may be altered or will not run [usually VLine buses].

10.55 A rally in the city is affecting cbd tram services.
- 14.28 Cbd trams have resumed, with delays.
Pakenham/Cranbourne/Frankston: Alterations to departure and arrival points in the city 10.00-15.00 for replacement buses.
- 15.00 Replacement buses have resumed using their advertised stop locations.
