A leaflet in my letterbox advised me that a new substation is proposed *In My Backyard*.

Well, actually adjacent to my regular tram stop.

The location is in a small reserve behind the bus stop visible in the attached photo.

I have already responded with a suggestion that the sub might give an architectural 'nod' to the original NMET&L Co Power Station.
