The rather arty coloured track surface treatment is composed of supposedly
hardy ground cover, specifically bred for public landscaping. This
particular stretch is quite recent, being on the latest extension of the
Olomouc tram network to U Kapličky in the Czech Republic. The blue track is
just coloured gravel. Though I haven't the slightest clue of the reason for
it.
