My late wife and I visited Adelaide to see and ride the new trams whenever that was and I was horrified by Jetty Rd. I thought it sand on the rails until learning of the corrugations. It seems to have repeated itself.

A couple of pics from Glenelg a week or so ago.

First pic shows one of the Bombardier trams - still a nice tram which is a good compromise between low floor access and pivoting bogies.

Second pic shows the corrugated rail in Jetty Rd.

I didn't get time to check out elsewhere, but it seems that there is no hurry to fix 'roaring rails' in the City Of Churches.
