There's no connection to/from Domain Road across southbound St Kilda Road (and I hadn't seen anything about temporary road closures to put in the necessary trackwork in any of the documentation).

Pity they used asphalt everywhere instead of grass but I wonder if that's for possible emergency vehicle thoroughfare.

I suspect this will be connected if/when the missing link is constructed and furthermore I don't think the 58 will return to Domain Road - impractical and potentially unsafe to make an E class full of pax walk across St Kilda Rd to connect with other trams or trains.
