VR 41 test run at Ballarat
  Mal Rowe

The Ballarat Tramway Museum has now completed the overhead for the fan leading to the Museum.

At the AGM on Saturday members were treated to a ride on one of their single truckers on the new fan.

VR 41 is on loan from Melbourne Tramcar Preservation Association to the Ballarat Tramway Museum.

It  has been isolated in the display building and not able to run.

Yesterday, it  was rolled out of the display building and test run on the new depot fan as far as the end of the new access track at Wendouree Parade.

All went well and it was then returned to the Museum Display Building.  Here are a couple of photos that Tony Smith took.

Mal Rowe - finding it hard to imagine a better looking tram in such a beautiful setting.
