Thanks Andrew. I do not remember the MTT having that silver tower wagon, but its number plate is painted in MTT “style” with a curly “7”. MTT always painted all its own numberplates, which is no longer legal these days. The tower looks a bit shabby, presumably transplanted from its predecessor.

Here's a shot I took of the Adelaide tower wagons outside City Depot on the weekend of the Adelaide tramway centenary, 10th and 11th June, 1978.

A long way from earlier versions. Some towers were likely relocated from one generation of conveyance to the next.
