The vehicle is on display at Innotrans, at the Berlin Messe. The Messe is
equipped with standard gauge tracks which many exhibitors at Innotrams use
to display their wares. However, Darmstadt is a metre gauge system so the
metre gauge car is presented sitting on some sort of low-loader dolly.
Other photos show rubber tyres on the dollys and what look like hydraulic
motors, it's probably the device they use to move things around their
factory.

Getting rotating bogies on a 100% low floor metre gauge car would be a
challenge, as this makes the 'trench' between the wheel sets particularly
narrow. Hope this comes off better for Stadler than the Variobahn's
they supplied to Munich.

With Bombardier eaten by Alstom, Sadlier and Škoda Transportation need to
push harder into new markets to keep the heat on Alstom or we could end up
with fixed bogie Citadis everywhere!
