Unlike the clown who collided with a tram on Devonshire St in Sydney a while back, at least this one was in a shared lane and going in the same direction as the trams.

And an “inattentive motorist” who doesn’t notice trams demonstrates the need for the cycleway. I have to admit to enjoying a measure of probably inappropriate gloating at an “inattentive motorist” worse off from doing a “SMIDSY” (sorry mate I didn’t see you) rather than someone on two wheels copping it.
