It may have been a “Shifty Tour”? Several events were organised under the “Shifty Tours” banner. As I recall, they were a form of pub crawl. However, maybe a little earlier than 1993. I remember going on one in the 1980s.

I understand there were quite a few “invitation only” events organised by employees and people connected with Malvern Depot but I wouldn’t be sure if the late Alan Jungwirth would have been associated with any of those.
